Natural Food Curcumin, Turmeric Cure Cancer

Curcumins

There are many natural ways to cure cancer, including curcumin found in turmeric, even though many of them have been held secret by main-stream medicine for years. Radiation and chemotherapy are big business for companies like Eli Lilly, Tamir and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Furthermore, studies have shown that  chemotherapy can backfire, causing cancers to grow even stronger upon their return.

Fortunately, due to some studies coming out of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, curcumin, a naturally occurring compound in foods like Turmeric, the Indian/Asian spice, often used in curries and many Pan Asian dishes, can make cancer cells run for cover. According to the clinic, the herb can actually tell the difference between a cancer cell and a non-cancerous one. Curcumins, found in the Indian spice, turmeric, has been shown to change the regulation of DNA to help kill cancer cells and prevent them from occurring, so curcumins are both pre-active and pro-active.

Turmeric, also called Indian saffron, jiang huang, haridra, and haldi, is not often found in US store-brand mustards; however, since they are not made with the root from which Turmeric spice is produced. Turmeric is a tropical plant that takes about 8 to 10 months to yield a healthy outcropping of bright yellow-orange roots, called rhizomes (much like a ginger root) from which the spice is made. You can even grow your own turmeric plants in your back yard, but the spice is readily available in health food and culinary stores. Normally it is dried, boiled, and ground in order to make Turmeric powder.

“No cancer has been found that is not affected by curcumins.” MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas

The UK Cancer Research Center states there are no proven cancer reducing agents in Turmeric. Numerous other studies say they are dead wrong. For example, in a groundbreaking study conducted at the Department of Natural Sciences at Middlesex University in the U.K, curcumins, along with chokeberry extract (Aronia melanocarpa) were able to completely halt malignant cancer growth in a type of brain cancer as well as instigate cancer cell death. These brain cancer cells known as U373, were stopped in their tracks. “polyphenol curcumin” came to the rescue repeatedly in the results of the experiment.

In still more studies, curcumin found in Turmeric, have been shown to stop mutating cancer cells from spreading. The Chinese learned about Turmeric from India around 700 AD, calling it calling it jiang huang and used it primarily as a spice bit also in Chinese medicine to ‘move blood’ and ‘stop pain.’ The world is learning of Turmeric from India hundreds of years later, as a powerful super-food and natural cancer cure.

Perhaps selling those chemo drugs is more important to Big Pharma than curing cancer. If we can grow our own treatment or purchase a natural supplement for a few bucks, why spend thousands of dollars on an invasive cancer ‘cure’ that also kills healthy cells and often causes cancer to return with a vengeance. Curcumins are an easy, and affordable solution for a disease that the CDC says kills almost 7.5 million people worldwide every year.
